Nai Yang Beach
Camping at the beach.
The approximately two-kilometre long Nai Yang Beach is part of Sirinath National Park in Phuket. At north, the beach joins Mai Khao Beach; there is no physical boundary separating the beaches. At the north end of the beach, you have the option to rent a tent and camp in a small narrow forest next to the beach. Many of the local people go on a picnic here to enjoy their food while sitting under the shade of the trees and enjoying the view of the beach and the sea.
The southernmost part of the beach is best for swimming. Here the beach does not slope so much into the water, making it better suited for children. At this part of the beach, you can also ride on a horse.
In the shade under the trees behind the beach, you will find sellers of food and drinks. Along the road further behind, you can buy necessities and various tourist things.
If you are not into camping, you can choose one of the local hotels for accommodation. Among the more luxurious hotels, you will find Dewa Phuket Hotel and Indigo Pearl Hotel (The Slate).
