Cape Panwa Hotel Beach
A nice beach if you stay at the hotel.
Cape Panwa Hotel Beach is named after the excellent five-star Cape Panwa Hotel located behind the beach. The hotel controls access to the beach; but unlike some other hotels that control beach access, they do not block the way to the beach for non-guests.
However, not many non-guests visits the beach as the beach is far from everything but the hotel; if you need to go far to visit a beach, you may as well go to a better beach.
At high tide, the beach is pretty, and you can go for a swim. If you want to go for a swim at low tide, you will have to use the pool; that is if you are a guest at the hotel.
Behind the beach, there is a charming, quiet area with grass and sun loungers underneath the palms. The hotel guests can buy drinks and food and enjoy the view; you cannot get served as a non-guest, as they add the bill to the hotel bill.
At low tide, the beach is less suited for a swim and not that pretty. The hotel announces when the beach is suitable for visits, and outside of those times, the beach is usually empty.
Cape Panwa Hotel Beach is a nice beach if you stay at the hotel and if you are content going for a swim only at high tide; otherwise you can find better beaches elsewhere on Phuket.

I have not yet written about all of the beaches; thus, there are a few inactive links on the list. Please be patient, I will get to them. The list is in geographical order, starting at the north side of Phuket, then down the west side and finally up the east side.
